Canvas Dashboard

If you login to canvas and notice that you are missing one or more courses from your dashboard, there are a couple steps you can take to try and locate them. It may also be possible that you are not properly enrolled in the course. Going through the information below will help you see why your course is not displaying to your Canvas Dashboard.

If you are missing a class, do the following...

1. If the term/semester has not begun, you may not have access to your courses. Only some instructors open courses early, and we do not know which ones do.
2. Check your BanWeb course schedule to make sure you are actively enrolled in the course you are looking for. TIP: You will not see wait listed courses. If you are waitlisted, you can reach out to your instructor for next steps.
3. Check your Canvas Course enrollments under the Canvas “Courses” tab. Select “All Courses"
4. Double check your course start date.

Looking Up Class Start Dates

Look up the course(s) in question on the Fall Course list.
Locate the course and click on the 5 digit course number you will see the course details box.

Helpful Reminder

- If you recently added a course, please give Canvas 24-48 hours to update enrollment.
- If you see all of your courses listed under the “All Courses” page, but only some of them are on the Dashboard, click the star next to each course. All starred courses should show up on the dashboard.
