Text Images Not Loading- Chrome

If images are not loading in your Canvas course, you can try adding the Canvas site to your browser's trusted webpages list. Chrome will block images if it does not know that they are safe. You can add Canvas as a trusted site, so images are not blocked from loading.

Add Canvas to Trusted Sites List

Go to the ellipsis found in the top right hand corner of Chrome.
Select the “Settings” option.
In the search bar type “Site Settings”
Select the “Site Settings” option.
At the bottom, select “Additional Content Settings”
Scroll to the bottom and click on “Insecure Content”
Under Allow, Click the “Add” button.
Add https://kccd.instructure.com to the trusted sites list.
Refresh your canvas page and images should appear.

If this does not work...

If this does not work, you may need to see if your instructor can fix the image. Sometimes images can be seen by the instructor but are blocked from student view. Be sure to reach out, faculty are not always aware images are blocked in the students view of the course.
